I've Just Put Audio On My Website

The best-value-for-money website audio system I've found ...

The software I've just used to put a voice greeting on my website is called WebAudioPlus.

I chose it after looking at several other website audio packages ... some very expensive and others completely free. The problem with the free software is the quality is not really up to a high enough standard for a professional business website. On the other hand, some web audio software costs US$97 and more ... and others have ongoing monthly fees.

WebAudioPlus costs just US$37. That's it. No ongoing monthly fees. It's very simple to set up. And it's easy to use.You can choose the colour and shape of your audio buttons. Then you can record your voice message straight into the software (you need a microphone attached to your computer, of course).

Alternatively you can convert an existing mp3 message to WebAudioPlus.

Either way, the result is the same... a professional looking, and great sounding streaming audio player on your site.Web marketing experts pretty much agree audio on your website adds an extra element of trust .. and this is very important on the Internet. Your visitors will trust you more, becauseyou stepped up and put your voice on your site. Now they'll KNOW that they're dealing with a real human being when they do business with you.

If you're thinking about putting audio on your site, check out WebAudioPlus now

An Interesting Lesson In Marketing

About two weeks ago I put a note on my website saying I am fully booked with work until the end of October. I hoped this would give me a breather for a few weeks from a heavy workload.

In fact, I have had more inquiries than ever in the last two weeks! One client says he decided to contact me after looking around at a lot of other writers, explaining: "I thought if you're busy, you must be good".

So I think I have stumbled upon some kind of marketing psychology. If you tell people you are busy, it seems to create an even greater desire for your services!

As a result of all this, I'm going to do what I've been thinking of for some time - look to outsource some of my writing and, particularly, my web design work.

In addition, I have shortened the copy on my home page and revamped the copy on my website writing page. This seems to have also attracted an extra number of inquiries. Shorter copy seems to work better on the home page than long copy. Interesting ... I'll keep on tweaking and testing.
